Sunshine Charters operates out of Nassau, Bahamas, and specializes in nearshore reef fishing and deep sea fishing at the area’s most productive fishing grounds. This charter is ideal both for anglers looking for their next trophy and those after their first taste of the local angling action.
Their vessel is 48’ Hatteras offshore sport fishing boat, originally built in 1980, and restored as recently as 2017. It’s powered by twin 450 HP GM engines and features all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a modern sportfisher. Nearshore trips are suitable for groups of up to 15 people while offshore adventures can take a maximum of 10 guests.
These waters are famous for their wealth of fish and diversity of species. This means that the list of possible targets stays quite long regardless of the time of your visit. Whether you’re bottom fishing or trolling, each time that rod bends, there’s a chance you’ll be surprised by what you hooked.
Fishing gear, baits, and tackle are all taken care of and will be waiting for you when you come aboard. This includes world-class Shimano rods and reels, and top-notch artificials. Snorkeling equipment is also always available for anyone looking to peek below the waves.
Also included in the price are fishing licenses, water, sodas, and catch cleaning. For those interested in spearfishing, a professional guide can be arranged ahead of the trip – for a small additional fee. All you should bring are some food, any additional drinks you’d like, sunscreen and sunglasses.
Once you have this taken care of, all you’ll have to focus on is being ready when the drag starts to scream!
